End of Audience Theory and Attitude

  • There is no comment box, no one can leave feedback or engage as well as Zoella 
  • relates to the age of the demographic, less likely to be online more inclined to be passive
  • attitude isn't interactive therefore it has more of a passive audience, attitude subverts End of Audience theory as most of the audience are passive and don't create their own content or contribute to the content produce. 
  • social media- attitude has Facebook, twitter and instagram where you can message them or comment on their posts. allows some interaction but only basic

On Youtube there are various forms of interaction, for example, the comments section This is a moderated area of conversation on Zoella's channel, in this section the audience can leave a positive comment Also, the audience can vote on polls that are left on the video, this can give a sense of influence on the upcoming videos/content The audience are able to interact with Zoella through her Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and email.
