End of Audience Theory and Attitude

  • There is no comment box, no one can leave feedback or engage as well as Zoella 
  • relates to the age of the demographic, less likely to be online more inclined to be passive
  • attitude isn't interactive therefore it has more of a passive audience, attitude subverts End of Audience theory as most of the audience are passive and don't create their own content or contribute to the content produce. 
  • social media- attitude has Facebook, twitter and instagram where you can message them or comment on their posts. allows some interaction but only basic

Zoella's audience will consist of 13-24 year olds, who are BC1C2 (youthful, energetic, associated with advertising and getting money off), this is because there is moderate formal language Also Zoella's house represents an ideal youthful environment This audience groups is to be associated with more lucrative advertising tie-ins How might the audience interact and participate?
